The four Gibbs sisters have reached their Golden Years, and life should be easy. But it’s never so when your neighbors are relatives, and with one perpetually-engaged son and a husband who may be having a late-life crisis, the rumors fly thick in a play that looks at some of the unique complications of aging with a light and respectful touch. A much-loved, but rarely-performed classic, Paul Osborn’s comedy is a charming portrait of life in a small Midwestern town in 1938. Featuring an unparalleled cast of KC ‘s finest actors under the direction of Dennis Hennessy, co-owner of the New Theatre & Restaurant.
